Nora M. Renquin Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 21, 2024, at the age of 92, Nora M. Renquin of Cumberland, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Nora has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence M. Renquin; her parents, Edward Grimley and Katherine Grimley (Walker); and her siblings, Edward Grimley, Kathryn Pelkey, Mary Cullion and Helen Mandeville.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa R. (David) of Warwick. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home (757 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. Aidan-St. Patrick Parish (1460 Diamond Hill Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Northern Rhode Island Food Pantry, 1 Angell Road, Cumberland, RI 02864 or to Hope Hospice, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
