She is survived by: her sisters, Brenda M. Dowdell (William) of Franklin, MA and Ann M. Kacharo of Pawtucket; her grandsons, Justin E. Thurber (Kerri) of Swansea, MA, Jason E. Thurber (Beth Leary), Joseph I. Thurber IV (Heather) of Port Charlotte, FL and Matthew R. Thurber (Cheryl) of Cranston; her great grandchildren, Jaice, Austin, Cole, Vaughn, Brianna, Evan, Ava and Ryan; her daughter-in-law Elaine "Ellie" Thurber of Port Charlotte, FL; and her children, James E. Thurber and Debra M. Thurber. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
