He was predeceased by: his parent Daniel J.; his spouse Nancy Gilmore (Sheehan); and his sibling Daniel J. Gilmore III. He is survived by: his parent Marjorie Gilmore Jr (Moran); his brother Shaun P. Gilmore of Washington, D. C.; and his sister-in-law Margaret B. Gilmore of Norfolk.
