She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Melanson; and her parents, Burton Vance and Stella Vance (McNamara). She is survived by: her children, Susan Kennedy (Wallace Valentine) of Cumberland, RI, William B. Melanson of Kodak, TN and Vance A. Melanson (Victoria) of Gloucester, VA; her granddaughters, Katelyn Kennedy and Emily Melanson; and her great grandchild Stella Kennedy.
