She was predeceased by: her husband John Mattos; her parents, Edward Freitas and Jesuina Freitas (Gouveia); and her sister Lucy Howe. She is survived by: her children, David Mattos (Diane) of Cumberland and Keri Yuppa (Thomas Yuppa) of Cumberland; her grandchildren, Jenna Messser (Steven Messer), Caroline Mattos (Andrew Clark) and David Mattos Jr.; her great grandchild Oliver Messer; and her siblings, Celeste Blanco and Manual Freitas.
