It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Veronica Descoteaux of Cumberland, Rhode Island, born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, who passed away on October 2, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Francis John Descoteaux; her parents, Senator James J. Brady and Catherine Brady (Barry); and her siblings, Marie Brady, Annetta Brady Comolli, Joseph I. Brady, James Brady Jr., Paul Brady, Matthew Brady and John Brady.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Fitzgerald of Cumberland and John Descoteaux of Huntington Beach, CA; her grandchildren, Danielle, Jake and Hope; her sister Catherine Brady of Cumberland; and also Ray Fitzgerald of Cumberland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
