Marion Shepherd Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marion Shepherd of Cumberland, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on October 12, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Edison W. Shepherd; her parents, Ernest Barlow and Alice Barlow (Collins) of Cumberland; her grandchildren, Kim Robert and Amy; and her great grandchildren, Cole and Nora.

She is survived by: her children, Joni L. Robert, Bradford Shepherd (Kathy) of Tampa, FL, Bruce A. Shepherd (Heather) of Cumberland, Douglas S. Shepherd (Kris) of Lincoln, Sara Shepherd, Ellen Shepherd, Zack Shepherd and Molly Shepherd; and her siblings, Barbara Callahan of Raynham, MA, Ernest Barlow of Cambridge, MD, Priscilla Patton of Downers Grove, IL and Ralph Barlow of Narragansett. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

Masks and social distancing are mandatory.

“Dear Joni ,Brad, Bruce and Doug, I was sorry to hear of Mom's death. I enjoyed the opportunity to know your family over the years.. Mom loved you all and enjoyed telling "stories" about your "growing up years". Your love and care during these last years were a blessing to her and an example to others. Because of your love she was able to stay in her apartment beyond expectation and your visits to the residence cheered her as well. May God give you comfort and peace at this time. Tom Conboy”
