We are sad to announce that on September 24, 2021, at the age of 88, Maria C. Gouveia of Cumberland, Rhode Island, born in Central Falls, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph B. Gouveia; and her parents, Joao Lopes and Natividade Lopes (Rebelo). She is survived by: her children, Joseph A. Gouveia (Rhonda Shumaker) of North Scituate, John J. Gouveia (Christine) of Narragansett, Linda M. Gouveia (Tim Hurley) of South Kingstown and Sharon Gouveia Comeau (Kevin) of Vermont; her brother John Lopes of Cumberland; and her grandchildren, Alexandra, Rachel, Erin, Ryan, Matthew, Nora and Margaret.
