He was predeceased by: his wife Maria C. Oliveira (Sequeira); his parents, Joao Oliveira and Amelia Oliveira (Tente Guerra); his son Jose Oliveira; and his brother Celestino Cunha.
He is survived by: his children, Joaquim Oliveira, Antonio A. Oliveira and Angelina Medeiros; his siblings, Joaquim Cunha of Cumberland, Angelo Oliveira of Cumberland, Antonio Oliveira of Cumberland and Bernadette Ferreira of Portugal; his grandchildren, Nelson Oliveira (Briana), Nicholas Oliveira, Melissa Oliveira (Zack Walker), Daniel Oliveira and Nathan Medeiros; and his great grandchild Maeve Oliveira.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home (757 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (1 Fatima Dr, Cumberland, RI 02864). A burial was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery (153 Curran Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864).
