It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Manuel Catarina Jr. of Cumberland, Rhode Island, who passed away on October 20, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel and Maria Catarina Sr. (Rodrigues). He is survived by: his wife Loretta Catarina (Travers); his children, Jean M. Mockler (Edward) of Wrentham and Denise A. Viens (Joseph) of North Scituate; his grandchildren, Nathan E. Mockler (Keri), Justin T. Mockler (Tiffany) and Meghan A. Fournier (Matt); his great grandchildren, Max Mockler, Chloe Mockler, Easton Fournier and Braxton Fournier; and his siblings, Louis Catarina (Rose) of Providence, Lucinda Cardoza, Adelino Catarina and Carlos Catarina.
