It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lydia C. Beck (Providence, Rhode Island), who passed away on April 25, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John A. Beck; her parents, Sebastiano DiBartolo and Lorenza DiBartolo Siton; her son Richard G. Beck; and her brothers, George DiBartolo, Paul DiBartolo and Salvatore DiBartolo.
She is survived by: her sons, John Beck of Rhode, James Beck of Rhode and Charles Beck (Kimberly) of Rhode; her grandchildren, Richard Beck, Jamie Lee Beck, Kevin Beck, Christopher Beck, James Beck, Christian Beck and Kyle Beck; her great grandchildren, Anna Beck, Jackson Beck, Olivia Beck, Elija Beck and Justin Beck; and her siblings, Charles DiBartolo, Ruth Muffs, Myrna Vincent, Sonia Siton and Mary Castro.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the A. A. Mariani & Son Funeral Home (200 Hawkins St, Providence, RI 02904). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
