We are sad to announce that on October 21, 2024, at the age of 65, Lucia M. Pacheco of Cumberland, Rhode Island passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dinis Rodrigues and Etelvina Rodrigues (Resendes); and her siblings, Dinis M. Rodrigues and Maria C. Amaral. She is survived by: her husband Joao Pacheco; her daughter Mariana Thompson (Ben Geldmaker) of North Smithfield; her granddaughters, Emma and Sofia; and her sisters-in-law, Cidalia Correia, Filomena Rodrigues, Carina Oliveira and Daniela Velasquez-Vargas.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 27th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home (757 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Anthony Church (32 Lawn Ave, Pawtucket, RI 02860). A burial was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at the Mt. St. Mary Cemetery (661 Prospect St, Pawtucket, RI 02860).
