It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lloyd A. Bateman (Cumberland, Rhode Island), born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on August 9, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Bateman and Maybelle Bateman (Pinkham); and his brother Richard L. Bateman Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Patricia L. Bateman (Balentine); his children, Ann Bateman of Cumberland, Joan Letellier (Michael) of Cumberland and John Bateman (Tukta) of North Smithfield; and his sisters, Laura M. Clark, Lois Sgambato and Edna Simmons. He is also survived by his three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
