She was predeceased by: her mother Anne Taylor (Medeiros); her grandparents, Francisco, Annie Medeiros (Hatch), Hiram and Annie Taylor (McGuire); and her mother-in-law Mary J. Souza (Gryss).

She is survived by: her husband David A. Souza; her daughter Dawn Mello of Sarasota, FL; her grandchildren, Britny Camerer (Chris) of Altamonte Springs, FL and Jeramy Theriault of Rock Hill, SC; her great grandchildren, Matthew and Ember; her siblings, Maureen Valois (Moe) of Ellenton, FL, Bruce Taylor (Joan) of Acushnet, MA, Kevin Taylor of New Bedford, MA, Kathy Curtiss of Southboro, MA, Marty Taylor (Lynn) of Lakeville, MA and Brian Taylor of Pawtucket, RI; and her brother-in-law Michael Souza of New Bedford, MA. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers and sisters in Christ, and many close friends.
