He was predeceased by: his wife Rosalie "Lee" Thorsen (Shields); his parents, Theodore "Ted" Thorsen and Georgia Thorsen (Shephardson); and his siblings, Eunice Fackler Bennett, Georgia Hunt and Theodore "Butch" Thorsen.
He is survived by: his children, Ken, Ann Kathleen "Kathy" Thorsen of Cumberland, Amy Thorsen (Sudip "Sid" Jhaveri) of Seattle, WA, John B. Thorsen (Nancy) of Bedford, MA and James "Jim" Thorsen (Cindy) of Cumberland. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Neill Funeral Home (3102 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Historic St. Joseph Church (1303 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). The military honors will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the Resurrection Cemetery (259 W Wrentham Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864).
