In the sacred silence of farewell, Karen is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Karen's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Antonio Fernandes and Rosemary Fernandes (Swirk). She is survived by: her husband Lawrence Genereux; her daughters, Ashley Ferreira (Michael) and Kerri Genereux (Mark Boulay); her grandchildren, Emma Newberg and Aaron Ferreira; and her brothers, Anthony and David Fernandes.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the O'Neill Funeral Home (3102 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location.
