He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Augusto Carola and Maria DeJesus. He is survived by: his sister Alexandrina Dejesus Moreira; his daughter Maria Augusta Carola-Silva (Manuel Vargas Silva); his grandsons, Jason Jose Silva and Brian Anthony Silva (Stacey Silva); and his great grandchildren, Alivia Maria Silva, Bryson Anthony Silva and Madyson Saraiva Silva. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
