He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Pereira and Geraldina Pereira (Cabral). He is survived by: his wife Isabel Pereira (Neves); his sons, Neil Pereira of Cumberland and Ryan Pereira (Mareli) of Cumberland; his grandchildren, Ariana, Adrian and Mason Pereira; his niece Monica McGraw; and his brother-in-law Artur Cesar of East Providence.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home (757 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Rosary Church (21 Traverse St, Providence, RI 02903). A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (550 Wampanoag Trail, Riverside, RI 02915).
