He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Michelsen and Alice Michelsen (Hummel). He is survived by: his close friend Rosemary Burns Snyder; his children, Nathaniel Michelsen (Julia Davis Michelsen) of Hingham, MA, Kate Michelsen Graham (Scott Graham) of Hanover, MA and Hunter Michelsen (Alisa); his brothers, James Michelsen (Barbara Michelsen) of Roanoke, VA and Tom Michelsen; his grandchildren, Olivia, Henry, Lucas, Alex and Myles; and his nieces and nephews, Debbie, Brian, Matthew, Marc and Amy.
