He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Buckley and Ellen Buckley (Walsh). He is survived by: his wife Janice Buckley (Rego); his children, John M. Buckley (Maria), Colleen Fahey (Timothy) and Michael Buckley (Mary); his grandchildren, Kaelin Brogan, Paige, Kacie, Ashley, Ryan and Matthew; and his siblings, Charles Buckley and Marian Sargent. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the O'Neill Funeral Home (3102 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint John Vianney Church (3609 Diamond Hill Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). The military honors was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Resurrection Cemetery (259 W Wrentham Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864).
