He is survived by: his sons, Phillip Sweetman and John Sweetman Jr.; his stepsons, Ray and Andy Connors; and his siblings, Alfred, James Sweetman, Diane Sousa, Peggy Ambault, Debra Sweetman and Donna Crothers. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
