He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Margaret C. DaSilva (Maia); his parents, Conceicao Lopes DaSilva and Abilio F. DaSilva; his children, Andrew DaSilva of Cumberland and Amanda DaSilva of Davis, CA; and his brothers, Luis F. DaSilva (Olga) of Cumberland and Dr. Manuel DaSilva (Ann Marie) of Narragansett. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
