He is survived by: his spouse Maria Fernandes (Garcia); his parent Maria Emilia Fernandes (Araujo); and his children, Maria DaCosta of Cumberland and Aderito "Manny" Fernandes of Pawtucket. He is also survived by his six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren as well as four great-great-grandchildren.
