He is survived by: his parents, Claudio Xavier Monteiro and Teresa Maria Dias; his stepfather Vital José Boaventura; his siblings, Arlindo Dias Boaventura, Maria (Cruz Boaventura), José Vital Boaventura, Bernardina Dias Boaventura, António Dias Boaventura and Manuel Vital Boaventura; and his children, Evandro (Santos Dias Boaventura), Idelson (Santos Dias Boaventura), Isaurinda Neves Dias, Karina Neves Boaventura, Valdir Neves Boaventura, Lucidalva Patrícia Neves Boaventura and Anderson Boaventura. He is also survived by many grandchildren, besides a great number of friends.
