Joan Catherine Darlington Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Catherine Darlington of Cumberland, Rhode Island, born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, who passed away on May 30, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Greene and Veronica Greene (Carney); and her sisters, Mary Egan of Cumberland, RI and Nancy Lynch of Bethesda, MD.. She is survived by: her husband Fred Darlington Jr.; her children, Keri-Lyn Smith (David Smith) of Cumberland, RI, Fred Darlington III (Jean Darlington) of San Diego, CA and David Darlington (Erin Carroll) of North Kingstown, RI; and her sister Roberta Smith of Lincoln, RI. She is also survived by her 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the celebration of Joan's life will continue at a later time, when it is safe to gather in her memory. The funeral and burial will be private.
