With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James M. Leach Jr. of Cumberland, Rhode Island, who passed away on November 6, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James M. Leach Sr. and Mildred B. Leach (Slocum); and his sister Mildred Johnson. He is survived by: his wife MaryAnn A. Leach (Baldyga); his sons, Michael D. Leach (Jeannie) of Cumberland and James J. Leach of Cumberland; his siblings, William Leach of Attleboro, Robert Leach of Largo, FL. and Maryann Soave of Smithfield; his grandchildren, Jordan, Campbell, Cassidy, Chelsea, Brandon, Mia and Bella; and his siblings, Donald Leach, Betty Cassidy and Dorothy Corry.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Northern Rhode Island Food Bank, 1 Angell Road Cumberland or St. Judes Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
