With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James J. Hoey of Cumberland, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on January 8, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Mary Byrnes. He is survived by: his siblings, Edward Hoey, Charles Hoey, Peter Hoey, Beth, Jay, Martha and Suzy; his wife Betty; his children, Elizabeth of Camara, James Hoey, Martha Hoey and Suzanne Jachinowski; his grandchildren, Donald of Camara, Janice Brockman, Lauren Yamamoto, Erin Hoey, Kate Hoey, James T. Hoey, Joseph Jachinowski (JJ) and Benjamin Jachinowski; and his great grandchildren, Brennan of Camara, Kyle of Camara, Rhys Brockman and Sloane Brockman.
In lieu of flowers, charitable/tax deductible donations can be made in memory of James J. Hoey to: Memory and Aging Program, Butler Hospital.
