He was predeceased by: his wife Lois Gravel (Mongeau); his parents, Gerard B. Gravel and Valerie Gravel (Dufour); and his sister Rita Tousignant. He is survived by: his children, Cris Gravel of Foster, Mark Gravel (Susan) of Johnston and Lisa Waterman (Jonathan) of Cumberland; and his siblings, Bertha Sasserville, Germaine Gravel and Arthur Gravel. He is also survived by his five grandchildren, as well as several nieces and nephews.
