It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George W. Stansfield Jr. of Cumberland, Rhode Island, born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, who passed away on February 25, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Schora (Bara); his parents, George W. Stansfield and Leola Stansfield Sr. (Alger); his sister L. Jean Simoneau; and his close friend Carolyn Brand.
He is survived by: his children, George W. Stansfield III (Heather) of Cumberland and Joyce Dupuis (Neal) of Lincoln; his siblings, B. Michael Stansfield (Donna) of West Warwick, Shirley Risk (late James) of Lincoln and Carolyn Hayden (Edward) of Port Orange, Florida.; his grandchildren, Alison, Stephanie, Rebecca and Hayden; his great grandchildren, Olivia and Camila; and his friend Mary Corvese. He is also survived by many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and dedicated Friends.
