George Stergis Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Stergis of Cumberland, Rhode Island, who passed away on June 24, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Susan Vendetti; and his brother Louis Stergis. He is survived by: his wife Dorothea Stergis (Savvides); his children, Cynthia Mulvey (Thomas), Lauren Stergis and Christopher Stergis; and his siblings, Augustus Stergis, James Stergis, Theresa Travers, Constance Grimshaw and Irene Hamilton. He is also survived by six grandchildren; one great granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mr. Stergis's memory to Assumption of the Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 97 Walcott Street, Pawtucket, RI 02806 would be appreciated.
