It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank Staples (Cumberland, Rhode Island), born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, who passed away on May 19, 2020, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Staples and Alma Staples (Cote); and his brother Alfred Staples. He is survived by: his wife Stephanie L. Staples (Emerson); his daughter Amy Scott (Dana Scott) of Cumberland; his grandsons, Collin Scott of Cumberland and Zachary Scott of Cumberland; and his siblings, George W. Staples of Whitefield, NH., Joseph Staples of Woonsocket, RI, Thomas Staples of Blackstone, MA., Alma Hocott of Woonsocket, RI, Robert Staples, Joan Whipple and Beatrice Otte.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, only ten guests and family members may be in the funeral home at any given time.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Ocean State Baptist Church, 600 Douglas Pike Smithfield, RI.
