She was predeceased by: her husband Jose Mendes; and her parents, Luciano Cabecas and Henriqueta Rosa. She is survived by: her children, Jose Rosa Mendes of Cumberland, Augusto Rosa Mendes of Cumberland and Maria C. Rosa Mendes Fernandes of Cumberland; and her siblings, Maria Barata of Chepachet, Francisco Cabecas of Portugal, Albina Rosa of Portugal, Augusto Cabecas of Portugal and Dinora Barata of Cumberland. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimers Association of RI, 245 Waterman St #306, Providence, RI 02906.
