She was predeceased by: her spouse John Calvert Steere; and her parent Charles Dowding. She is survived by: her parent Vera Dowding (Lake); her son Robert C. Steere (Karlene) of North Smithfield; her stepson Calvert Jr.; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Steere, Catherine Kelly (Patrick), Jaymes Steere, Katie-Anna Steere and Chad Steere; and her siblings, Barbara Dunphy and Richard Dowding. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
