He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred E. Whitcomb and Alice I Whitcomb (Huff). He is survived by: his wife Nancy M. Whitcomb (Shea); his children, Donald Hoyt of Providence, Kristopher Hoyt (Cecelia) of North Providence, Brenda Hoyt of Cumberland, Richard Hoyt of Cumberland, Todd Hoyt of Cumberland and Michelle Hoyt of Cumberland; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Morgan, Kristopher, Jr., Juliana and Juan; and his great grandchild Alaina.
