Dorothy Garvey Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Garvey of Cumberland, Rhode Island, born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, who passed away on February 4, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Vine and Anne Vine (Platt); her son Mark Garvey (Diane); and her siblings, Marion Vine Eklof and Russell Vine.
She is survived by: her spouse Gilchrist Garvey; and her children, Stephen Garvey (Patricia) of North Kingstown, David Garvey (Cindy) of Chattanooga and Lisa Brainerd (Greg) of Charleston. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.
