It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothea Jane Grivers of Cumberland, Rhode Island, born in Providence, Rhode Island, who passed away on August 4, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Dorothea Jane leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Leo and Violet Tormey (Sanders); and her brother Charles Leo Tormey Jr.. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Sarah, James Horbury, Olivia and Kate Grivers; and her husband Joe.
