She was predeceased by: her parents, Amelia Avelino (Faria) and Joao Avelino; her siblings, Carlos Avelino, Alcinda Avelino and Nicolau Avelino; and her grandsons, Matthew Polite and Austin Lopes.
She is survived by: her children, Eveline Polite (Gregory) of Cumberland, Eusebio Lopes (Ada Carrasco) of Cumberland, RI, Auguste Lopes (Connie) of Lakeville, MA and John Avelino of Las Vegas; her grandsons, Alex Lopes of Lakeville, Jason Lopes and Isaac Polite of Cumberland, RI; and her siblings, Fatima Rosa of Coventry, RI, Deolinda Avelino of North Providence, RI, Domingos Avelino, Mary Avelino, Rosa Avelino, Guerette Avelino and Eledio Avelino.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Keefe Funeral Home (5 Higginson Ave, Lincoln, RI 02865).
