He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Bankosky (Antoscia) and William Bankosky; and his brother Rico Antoscia. He is survived by: his wife Mary M. Bankosky (Sprague); his children, Karen A. Fagundes (Joseph) of Cranston, Ann M. MacCarthy (Brian) of Warwick and Thomas J. Taylor (Sandy) of Central Falls; his grandchildren, Sonya, Cassondra, Nicole, Alyssa, Joseph Jr., Samantha, Brian Jr., Kevin, Kyle, Devin, Amanda and Curtis; his great grandchildren, Chloe, James, Noah Dennis, Winnie, Aaliyna, Skylah, Liam and Ellie; his sister Mary Christofaro "Sister Bell" (Alfred) of West Greenwich; and his nephew Michael Christofaro of Warwick.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home (757 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A prayer was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
