He was predeceased by: his wife Geraldine Franklin (Grady); and his parents, Andrew Franklin and Ruth Franklin (Brown). He is survived by: his sons, David A. Franklin and Michael J. Franklin.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Neill Funeral Home (3102 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Historic Saint Joseph Church (1303 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A burial will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:30 AM at the Saint Joseph Cemetery (900 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864).
