He was predeceased by: his parents, Conrad Hamel and Emerentienne Hamel (Tetreault); his son Steven; and his siblings, Rolande Cote, Normand and Robert.
He is survived by: his wife Lucille; his children, Karen Donnelly (Robert), Jeff (Cheryl) and Jaime (Stephanie); and his grandchildren, Patrick, Alison, Matthew, Kyra, Jillian, Luke, Jake, Jack and Lia.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the O'Neill Funeral Home (3102 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
