He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Alves and Emilia Alves (Silva); his uncle Abel DaSilva of Cumberland; and also Mary Louise Gagne (Alves). He is survived by: his sister Mary Kathleen Scott of Norwood, MA.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, only ten guests and family members may be in the funeral home at any given time.
