He was predeceased by: his spouse Alice S. Monteiro (Silverio); and his parents, Porfirio Monteiro and Augusta Monteiro (Ribeiro). He is survived by: his son Bernardino A. "Ben" Monteiro of Riverside; his sister Maria Candida Tenreiro of Cumberland; and his grandchildren, Julie Murnin of Cumberland, Donna Victor of Florida and Christopher Monteiro of Coventry.
