He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Booklan Lee Ang (Lilia); his parents, Ay Jin Tan and Mariano Ang Sr.; his sons, George Ang (Iris) of Cumberland, RI and Richard Ang (Catherine) of Medina, WA.; and his grandchildren, Dillon Ang, Abby Ang, Jessie Ang, Ida Ang, Luke Ang, Richmond Ang and Radleigh Ang. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
