He was predeceased by: his parents, Tony Yany and Jennie Yany (Nassaney); his daughter Angela Mazzone; and his brother Joe. He is survived by: his wife Violet Yany (Nassimos); his children, Diane Giorgi (David Demty), Tony Yany (Stacy) and Joseph Yany (Tammy); his son-in-law Stephen Mazzone; his siblings, Bertha Sanky, Albert and Louis Yany; his grandchildren, Sara Kafader, Jacob Yany, Kourtney Meredith, Christopher Yany, Devon Viveiros, Dana Mazzone, Justine Giorgi, Alex Mazzone, Rachel Giorgi, Laura Yany and Dylan Mazzone; his great grandchildren, Johnny, Tommy, Nate, Zeke, Owen and Ike; his son Michael Yany; and his brother Harvey Nassaney.
