She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. John J. Hoban; her parents, Patrick O'Malley and Kathleen O'Malley (Corrigan); and her siblings, Bridie Champagne, Patrick O'Malley, Tony O'Malley and Celine Murray.
She is survived by: her children, Deirdre O'Sullivan (Finbarr), Rona Busse (Harry Plausse) and Sean Hoban (Gianna); her grandchildren, Niamh, Ciara O'Sullivan, Desmond, Eamon Busse, Nicholas, Domenic, Sean and Elena Hoban; and her siblings, Tom O'Malley, Farrell O'Malley and Kathleen Treanor. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and nephews.
