It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ana C. Simao of Cumberland, Rhode Island, who passed away on April 1, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ana C. Simao to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Serafim Simao; and her parents, Manuel Tomas and Maria Tomas (Cruz). She is survived by: her children, Casimiro Simao (Maria) of Cumberland, Manuel Simao of Cumberland, Daniel Simao (Lisa) of Florida, Ana Costa (Jamie) of Pawtucket, Helena Mobrice (Paul) of Cumberland and Filomena Williams of Cumberland; and her siblings, Jose Tomas of Central Falls, Avelino Tomas of Cumberland, Antonio Tomas of North Providence, Joao Tomas of Cumberland, Jamie Tomas of Cranston, Helena Rodrigues of Pawtucket, Olivia Rodrigues of Lincoln and Dolores Correia of Cumberland. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home (757 Mendon Rd, Cumberland, RI 02864). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Fatima Church (1 Fatima Dr, Cumberland, RI 02864).
