He was predeceased by: his parents, Luis Marques and Adélia of Jesus; and his siblings, Armando Marques and Adelina of Jesus. He is survived by: his wife Maria Marques; his children, Luis Marques (Eric Schneider) and Paula Bass (James Bass); his grandchildren, James, Tyler, Riley, Chloe and Brady; and his siblings, Maria of Jesus, José Marques and João Marques. He is also survived by extended family that includes several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
