He is survived by: his wife Elvira Almeida (Lopes); his children, Jose Manuel Almeida (Lupe) of California, Sandra Almeida of Cumberland and George Almeida (Stephanie) of Cumberland; and his siblings, Jose Almeida (Rosa Maria) of Cumberland, Antonio Almeida of Seekonk, Albano Almeida and Maria of Asecencao. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren, one great-grandson; as well several nieces and nephews.
