It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Albert Choquette Jr. of Cumberland, Rhode Island, born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, who passed away on August 17, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Suzanne Choquette (Roberge); his parents, Albert Choquette, Sr. and Alma Choquette (Baillargeon); his sister Pauline Ladebauche; and his granddaughter Suzanne Clawson.
He is survived by: his children, Emilie Mendillo (Thomas) of North Attleboro, MA, Paul Choquette of Warwick, Thomas Choquette of Newton, MA, Amy Sanborn (Randall) of Hopkinton, MA and Anne Clawson (Daniel) of North Kingstown; his sister Irene Beaudreault of Woonsocket; and his grandchildren, T. J., James, Annie Mendillo, Julia Choquette, Benjamin, Charlotte Clawson, Cadence, Nathaniel and Cassidy Sanborn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Food for the Poor at foodforthepoor.org, an organization near and dear to Mr. Choquette's heart, which he has supported for many years.
