He was predeceased by: his wives, Alyce Edwards (Kazanjian) and Jeannette Edwards (Benoit); his parents, Walter Sr. Edwards and Ida Edwards (Bumgartner); and his siblings, Milton, Benjamin (Kenneth Edwards), Blanche Bittinger and Katherine Carter (Joanne Jayne).
He is survived by: his sons, Dennis Edwards (Starlene Thompson), Walter M. Edwards (Holly) and Donald G. Edwards (Brenda); and his sisters, Martha Davidson and Marylou Ballman. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
